Shopping heaven by the Relais Monceau Hotel

One of the most enjoyable activities in Paris is to wander through the food markets. One of the most famous of them in central Paris, is very close by on the rue de Levis. Let yourself be tempted by the wonderful chocolates and macaroons from ‘Le Cacaotier”of the rue de Levy… And if you are not willing to go “that far” you can always stay closer or our hotel and enjoy the exquisite cakes from ‘Le Nôtre’ on Boulevard de Courcelles.

In this area is also one of the most famous cheese shops of Paris, ‘Androuet’ – it is well worth going in to admire and smell the wide variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and textures! A true French religion!

Then there are the world famous department stores Printemps and Galeries Lafayette located just 15 minutes’ away. Nearby is the Opera-Madeleine area, one of the best areas of Paris for chic shopping … and why not going a little further and head down to Faubourg Saint Honoré or even to the Champs Elysées !
